My go-to spot whenever I'm around here. It's a pretty average hotel, but hands down, it's the best 4-star vibe I've ever experienced. the restaurant is top-notch, and the staff there is super friendly! 🌟

Central location of this nice basic hotel was a bonus. There was an in-house restaurant nearby. The room itself was airy, excellent sized with very efficient heating and had essentials I needed.

Nicely presented and reasonably priced accommodation with handy setting very close to a local restaurant on the third night-a 15-minute walk along the river bank, the town centre and restaurants and downtown shops, cafes and the Wine Station. Well-appointed room overlooking the poolside. Had really good climate control, a lounge and an iron.
Not that friendly staff!

The room was incredibly clean and well maintained. High-ceiling room so we felt that we had lots of space.
We asked for a small jug of milk to have with our cereal in the morning. Was surprised to be charged $3 for it when we were checking out. It was unexpected because this wasn't mentioned to us when we requested the milk. Additionally, it just seemed so trivial to charge a guest who's paying more than $150 a night for some milk. I can recall countless backpackers that I've stayed at that offered me free milk!

The clean comfortable room
The meal my partner chose at your restaurant was fish of the day with side salad and hand cut fries. Whilst the fish was very nice it was presented in a very poor manner. The fish was sitting on a bed of plain mesculin (which by the time I got it the Mesculin was hot and soggy.)....there were absolutely no added salad ingredients and was not good value for money or presentation to say the least. I didn't complain at the time as one of the other visitors had spilled beer all over the table etc..... My meal was noticeably better all round. Also the noise transfer betwen rooms was not good...We heard everything the visitors in the next room were doing - likewise they would have heard us too....

Our stay at Riverside Hotel Marlborough was fantastic. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They provided a secure area for our bicycles and parking was easy right outside our room. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and cool with air conditioning. We also loved the location, being able to walk into town along the riverside path. The bar was well-stocked, and the security doors provided peace of mind. I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value and great amenities.
